Yogi Training consist of 20hrs with Carolyn Yepiz. Each student will receive a yoga manual describing yoga poses and the benefits, brief history into yoga and mantras/yoga wording. The class will meet on Saturday and Sunday January 28 & 29th from 11:30am to 4:30pm. Students will meet again on Thursday for 3 weeks starting at 6:30pm ending at 9:30pm. Yogi training is for students of all ages and experience. It will deepen your practice and you will feel more comfortable about yourself and your practice. The Training Camp challenge is to try to practice yoga everyday for 30 days. Each contestant will have 30 days to perform 30 classes. A whiteboard will be posted in the hallway at the Training Camp to keep track of your number of classes. If you miss a class you can perform two classes or three classes in one day. The goal of the challenge: feel the benefits of yoga everyday, motivate students to practice more, and most of all lose weight and gain muscle. Sign up is free! You must be a member. Arm balancing is more about technique, body positioning and willingness to try. Discover the use of the pelvic floor to access arm balances and the forces of gravity to feel alive, exhilarated, and stable on an off the mat.
Sean will instruct you on the vital aspects of these beautifully powerful asanas. Deepen your practice, learn to engage bandhas and strengthen the connection with your inner balance and alignment.It will begin with a calming meditation. The body will then be warmed up with sun salutations. Throughout, there will be enhancing and understanding bandhas and cultivating a connection with the energy locks.
While performing arm balances, you will learn proper alignment, and safe techniques hay will help fears and core connection.Sean has been trained in Vinyasa yoga and has found his true passion within teaching, and sharing his knowledge.
